Ohio is many things — boring may even be one of them. But if you’re looking for a relaxing spot to spend a late-summer weekend, my home state isn’t a bad place to find yourself. Especially if my mom is your host and you like picking homegrown heirloom tomatoes, eating Milk & Honey’s peanut butter cup ice cream every day before dinner, hanging out with Guinness the dog, pouring beer unhurriedly, and arranging flowers from the garden (plus weeds from the empty lot next door) into little bouquets.
